Hi, I’m Kelsey — a counsellor, psychotherapist, and a human being who knows life can feel messy and overwhelming. I’m also neurodivergent myself, which means I truly value difference and individuality.
In our sessions, I’ll meet you as you are, with warmth, honesty, and compassion. Together, we’ll explore what feels heavy and uncover the light already within you.
I don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I draw on different approaches to shape our work around your story, so you have a safe, supportive space and truly your own.
A safe, compassionate space to explore life’s challenges — from anxiety and grief to trauma and neurodivergence. Together, we’ll weave a path toward clarity, healing, and self-discovery.
At Woven Light Counselling, I offer a calm and compassionate space where you can pause, breathe, and be met exactly as you are. Life can feel heavy, messy, or overwhelming, and my role is to walk alongside you without judgment. Every person I work with is unique, and I believe therapy should reflect that — tailored to your story, your needs, and your pace.
My approach is integrative, weaving together elements of Gestalt, existential, person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT therapies. This allows me to create a flexible, relational style of counselling that adapts to what you bring. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, neurodivergence, or simply feeling stuck, Woven Light Counselling is a place where you can explore what feels heavy and begin to reconnect with the light already within you.
If you’re ready to take the first step, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you — reach out today to begin your journey.
Here are some of the questions people often ask before starting counselling. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please feel free to use the contact form on this website or email me directly at kelsey@wovenlightcounselling.com — I’ll be happy to help.
Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It can help you explore challenges, gain clarity, and develop healthier ways of coping.
I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and neurodivergence. Whatever you’re bringing, we’ll explore it together at your pace.
The first session is a gentle introduction. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to counselling, what you hope to gain, and how I can support you. It’s also a chance for you to see if I feel like the right fit for you.
There’s no set timeline — some people come for a few weeks, others for longer-term support. We’ll regularly review our work together so it feels right for you.
Yes. What you share stays between us, with only a few exceptions around safety and safeguarding, which I’ll explain clearly in our first meeting.
You can contact me via my contact page or email me directly to arrange a session. My fees are £45 for face-to-face sessions and £40 for online sessions. Concessions are available for counselling students as part of their training. I’ll always be clear and transparent about costs before we begin.
